Testing of a SIP based security appliance which allows Instant Messaging and communications for the enterprise market place.

Primary Responsibilities: ˇ Develop test plans/procedures and test assigned product features ˇ Setup and Deploy testing configurations ˇ Perform Functional, System and some Performance/Stress Tests against assigned areas. ˇ Assist Customer Support with Customer issues and in some cases interact directly with the Customers. ˇ Interact with Development to resolve testing and customer issues ˇ Reporting, tracking and verifying product defects using Bugzilla ˇ Communicate feature status and stability to QA Lead

Relevant Knowledge and Skills: ˇ Understanding of IP Networking ˇ Strong Knowledge of Windows and Linux ˇ GUI and Command-Line Testing Experience in a Manual Test Environment ˇ Telephony/VOIP experince a plus ˇ Familiarity with Enterprise IM Systems such as Microsoft Live Communications Server or IBM Sametime a plus ˇ Understanding of QA Process ˇ Ability to quickly learn new technologies and concepts ˇ Well Organized and Detail Oriented ˇ Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
